Just out of curiosity. Letter was written in 1968 and yet, paper is still so white.....
clearly was made on typewriter, clearly was 6 cent stamp postmarked- looks legit to me.

This has been closed and unopened for years. Possibly unopened since originally read. I guarantee it's legit and amazing. I spoke with Mr. Hempel personally about this letter before he passed. It was in his estate items. I WOULD LIKE A COLLECTOR TO HAVE AND KEEP IT SAFE.

This letter is really cool as it is tied to two very famous people in the billiard world. Mr Robert "Bob" W. Hempel "was the originator of the Fellini cue case and made these collectible cases from 1972-1982 with his partner Ann Gore."

In 2003 - 2004 I went to Austin,TX with Bob Hempel to empty his storage unit that contained all the Fellini case making supplies and some of his personal effects. We rented a Uhaul and drove it all back to Belleville,IL Bob's home town. This was one of the items that he showed me as he knew I was into building cues and we would often would talk about the cue makers he dealt with during the time when he built cases.

What I meant by that, the user posting under the name Stockings was a previously banned user who keeps comming back.. They have been banned atleast 15 times.. If you notice they are once again banned..
