I ran across 2 original Balabushka's the other night and the owner says he would like to sell them. I told him that they would most definitely have to go through a Escrow to verify, particularly through Pete's shop, he said that it wouldn't be a problem, and that both cues have been to Pete before.

1 is basic Ebony 4 pointer made from a Gus Szamboti blank. Cortland wrap, Ebony butt and the white butt cap. This cue has seen some play, quite a few nicks and bruises on the forearm and butt area. I shot with it Weds. night and the shaft felt smooth and responsive. The hit was probably one of the best feeling/sounding experience Ive had in awhile.

The other cue he didn't have with him, so I am going on his word and my memory (or lack thereof), but I am supposed to see it and take some photos over the weekend.
4 point from Burton Spain stock. 5 veneers, notched diamonds, dots, Cortland, very traditional design.

If anyone might be interested in either, I would be more then happy to put you in contact with this guy. Its not my sale, so I have no influence, just told him I would "ask around".:)
 
Have him contact Ying Yih Wu at (630) 530-1024 in Chicago if he is serious about selling them. He buys more highend collectable cues than anyone that I know. I told Ray Martin the same thing when he asked me at a tournament and he sold him 2 Szamboti cues a year or so ago. Wu is a nice guy and easy to deal with.

What ever happened with these cues? I PM'd you my contact info and never heard anything.

Why don't you just get the person who has these cues post here so that we can make offers for them?

After Mr. Wu got elected for Taiwan's congressman, he spends most of his time in Taiwan now. You might want to email him in case he is not in Chicago.
Wu is a real gentleman.

John, I am passing all of the interested parties information to the gentleman selling the cues, not the other way around. I have gotten close to 50 PM with people interested, and I have replied to maybe 4, nothing personal just no reason to really. If any of this is a issue I will be more then happy to remove your contact info from my list before I give it to him today.

If you read what I posted, I wasn't asking you to give me his contact information, I was suggesting that he post here so that people can interact with him directly.

It looks to me like you are having fun being the middle man and it makes you feel important. I really like your threat about not giving him my contact information.

I have read enough of your posts to tell you are a snivelling weasel who I would never do business with. The only reason I PM'd you my contact info is because you said you had nothing to do with this transaction.

Please remove me from the contact info you "plan" on giving to the guy and place me on your ignore list.

I know it is hard to grasp but not everyone in today's world uses a computer, let alone the Internet. I asked if you wanted me to remove you since I am not giving his info out, just supplying prospects to him. Sorry if you didn't understand that.

I have zero interest in this sale so not sure how that would make me feel important. I was just using a means to gather more potential buyers for a friend.
