The big apple Kicked of today with a very strong field of 69 players, some of the big match ups this morning was Santos losing to Al lapena and Tony Robles beating Chris Bartram. A lot of the players from the champion of champions dont play till tomorrow.
I will try and put some pictures on my site and further results.

Tony, I wish you the best in this tourney & hope you do well. I wish I could be there... had a great time last yr, esp at the little pub up the street.

Please keep us informed as I am very curious to know how he does since taking such an extended lay-off.

Thanks for the update and good luck to you. You're one of the guys I miss seeing when I can't make it to an event. I'm sure your fan club will be around to say hi. I hope to recover from my tonsillectomy in time to make the Joss tournament next week. Hope to see you there.

just finished watching him beat joey kong 10-4 or somthing. still very strong. and al lapena is very good. wasnt that much of an upset to santos.
 
Baservich beat Melissa H 10-7 but was undr a bit of pressure for a while at 9:7, they both missed a few easy racks but also made some great outs from what I saw. I play the winner, Danny tomorrow at 11am.

As for the one not sure if any of you guys would want this guy as your scotch doubles partner, I thought we were on the same team till he played a couple of shots LOL,
I will have pictures up on my site tomorrow,
The matches start at 11am tomorrow.
Ginky played a good game tonight, Joey Kong is a real tester for anyone in this tournament.

he may have taken a layoff from PRO competition, but everytime i'm in amsterdam billiards, he's there at the table.

I actually saw his name on Tony's site.
Nice to see him in action again, even if he is only competing locally.

I almost got caught a couple of times in his little trap but luckily for me Corey has right there to Tony C-block him.

Is Corey playing in this tournament, because I didnt see his name in the brackets but I thought he was playing in it.
 
Good luck TheOne against Danny, he's a superb player but you've beat pro's of his calibre before so why not again! Good luck to the AZ ladies too it sounds like Melissa was so close to beating Danny.
