I am posting two cues and an incomplete project cue built by DPK. I need to pay some medical bills for my daughter and these are hopefully some easy assets to move. Everything is fine, but no reason to dip into savings if I can sell some cues. Shipping amd PP fees on buyer.
1. This cue first appeared on AZ a couple of years ago when vinniebarooch posted it for sale out of a collection. I believe I am the fourth owner. The cue is in great condition for it's age. I always wanted a micarta cue due to the crisp hit and this cue has it all. The shafts still play very stiff. Both shafts have minor nicks in the first four inches of the shafts but taper area is smooth. This cue can be shipped overseas because it does not have ivory. Price is $6k.
Specs:
Pin:3/8-11
Butt: 16oz, 28.5", straight
Shaft 1-3oz, 12.2mm, 29.5", straight
Shaft 2-3.7oz, 12.5mm, 29.5, minor taper roll, less than CC.
2. When I wanted to try a DPK, I bought this one from ideologist here on AZ. It is made from a beautiful piece of satinwood with great chatoyance. The butt has the flared butt cap David was known to use. It hits very stiff and has an ivory ferrule, however the ferrule has a small crack thats difficult to see and doesn't impact playability. I have discounted the cue due to the minor ferrule issue. I have a jacoby black shaft that could go with this cue as an extra shaft or the Bender. Everything is straight. I can also ship the cue in a guiseppe case. Price: SOLD
Specs:
Pin:3/8-14
Butt: 14oz, has room for weight bolt, 29"
Shaft: 3.7oz, 12.2mm, 29"
3. I bought an unfinished DPK from ideologist as well. This will make a great history piece. It has David's handwriting on it, one shaft has piano key ringwork, another has the SW ringwork, and three more shafts come with it. Price is $1,500
Not sure what specs would be useful here since it is unfinished so PM me what info you would like.
4. Beautiful wrapless Mike Bender with silver inlays. This cue has his parabolic taper and plays beautifully. I bought a jacoby black shaft fitted for a Bender as an extra shaft. I really like the color scheme with the ebony handle, maple nose and black shaft. There is some minor finish chipping on the Bender shafts and you can slightly feel the bottom ring on the wrap. One shaft has some minor discoloration on the ferrule. I'll send a close up pic if anyone is interested. This cue does not have any ivory and can be sent overseas. Everything is straight. Price is $3k and Jacoby shaft is extra $350.
Specs:
Pin: 3/8-14
Butt: 15oz, 29"
Shaft 1: 4oz, 29.25"
Shaft 2: 4oz, 29.25"
Jacoby Black: 3.8oz, 30"
Please PM me with any questions.
