There's a lot of bull in this write up, but there is also a lot of truth. Irvin Lawson at one time, was not the game, a road player ever wanted to be matched up in. He was a giant when he was in gear and many who knew stayed away. Last 9 ball tourney he played in (Roanoke Va) in the final match, against Allen Hopkins (a good 25 years younger) Bill won the lag and then ran the session out. Wade Crane and Bill were great friends and yes Bill helped him with his break , but that was when Wade was a kid, not later , and for sure not in 1982......RIP Bill Lawson
