Yen Makabenta, Chairman of BSCP and CEO of Prism Communications which is the mother company of RAYA Sports, was seen protesting to ABS-CBN executives about ABS-CBN's contract to cover the upcoming 2009 Women's World 10-Ball Championship on May 25-31. ABS-CBN reply was that Makabenta doesn't have any known local Champions in his event that can command a massive fan base following.
