I have a 1941 Brunswick Titleist Conversion. It was done by (Steve Lomax)
and was done 6/08. It has 2 Tascarella shafts with ivory ferrules. The joint and buttcap are ivory substitute. The joint is flat faced with 5-16/14 pin. It has a silver ring at butt and joint. The butt weighs 15.5 and the shafts are 4.0 and measure 12.75 with moori medium tips. The original weight was left on this cue by request. Really solid player. For Sale. $1200 obo .

Thanks,David

Steve is one of the best relatively unknown cuemakers out there. Stevie Moore and Louie Ulrich are among the list of people who play with his cues

Thanks, Steve does great work. I have edited this thread and i am asking $1200 obo.

Please forgive my ignorance but were/are the Tascarella shafts fitted for this cue or is there a shaft that was made specifically for this cue? The reason I'm asking is that 4.0 seems a tad heavy for shafts that are 12.75 in diameter.

What is the condition of the cue? Does is roll straight together or apart?

The reason for the questions is that I may be interested in the cue particularly since I've been looking for a converted wrapless titlist in great shape that's a player.

Thanks,
Tonyboy59

Not My Cue, But My 2 Cents.......

I Have Several 12.75mm 4 Ounce Tascarella Shafts.

But These Don't Look To Have The Correct Inserts To Be Tascarella Shafts. I May Be Wrong, But I've Seen A Few Tasc Shafts In My Day.

Can You Post Better Pics Of The Inserts? Were They Tascarella Shafts That Were Modified To Fit This Cue?

THANKS SHANE. IT'S A SHAME THEY CUE THE INSERT DOWN, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN WAY BETTER TO MAKE THE JOINT FIT THE INSERTS.

THANKS AGAIN FOR THE INFO.

It's not unusual to see shafts with inserts weigh in at 4.0oz+ even at 12.75mm. The insert adds extra weight that you might not think about. So when you see a shaft that doesn't have an insert at 4.0+oz and is 12.75....it's a monster!
