I have put up Lesson 2 at the link below. I apologize for it taking longer than expected. I have been very busy and on top that I have been battling the flu. I am sure you will find this lesson to be very informative, and the written exercises are very helpful in identifying and dealing with our fears in competition. Best of luck to all that are taking part in this FREE online course. Click the link below to go to the Study Main Page.

BlackJack,

I appreciate your effort, and I look forward to each lesson. Is there anyway to view this as a pdf or word file? I have to scroll back and forth on my screen to view it, and I cant copy and paste it into word due to the format.

Thanks.

maximize your screen, and close out the yahoo stuff.........that should make it almost the same size as the screen.

Keyword: "Almost"...I have tried everything, and I have to scroll to read it left to right...hard to keep interest after a paragraph of that...I like the material though.

Copy the text and paste it into a word processing program and then you can view it however you like.

Blackjack,
Just a note to compliment you on your lessons so far. I am extraordinarily impressed by the depth of your analysis of pool hall dynamics, of the proper way to build a perfect game, and of the many mental roadblocks that can obstruct our progress. I have assiduously sought this type of information from several successful and skillful road players; but have never found any able to express it in the manner you do. You must have spent quite a bit of time (??and trouble??) trying to understand this subject, and get it down on paper. Many, many thanks; I appreciate the opportunity to absorb these lessons without the stress and heartache that probably would have been involved in learning them the hard way. I can't wait for the next lesson.

P.S. - don't forget us straight pool geeks, we appreciate the tips you've offered so far.

to add what people have already added, i'd like to ad an experience that was fueled by some of blackjacks writings.

i read his first lesson in the perfect game series a few weeks ago about never saying never when you're down in a set.

i was playing in a tourney a week or so after, and found myself down 8-3 in a race to 9............i was almost sure i was dead..............then i started thinking of blackjacks article and what i had learned from it.........i cleared my mind, played my game and won the set 9-8.

so..................

HIS STUFF IS FOR REAL..........like he says, if you apply what he teaches, you WILL succeed....

thanks

VAP

my screen must be bigger than yours then, if i max the window and get rid of the yahoo advertisement, the text fits on my screen just enough not to scroll.

Need something to lean on in a pinch

I have not read the article yet but I hope it helps me. I don't play very much anymore and last night found myself struggling to remember how to win. I was up 6-3 race to 7 for 300. I did not close the match out due to sloppy play and he broke the 9 in hill-hill. I need to brush up on my close out skills.

Thanks for lesson two,,,everybody, and I mean everybody, needs to read all of your postings,,,,I recognized some of my "friends" in every category,,,,thanks, again for the lesson...............jflan

David,

Thank you for your generosity. It takes a special person to share their knowledge without seeking some kind of compensation. From the looks of your table of contents you have partaken quite a challenge. I look forward to reading your site in the future.

ps. The name of your lessons is perfect. I've never accomplished a single goal in my life without working towards it.
