You never tried to blow a ball into a pocket.
Just imagine blowers from the future.

Do you know anyone good at blowing air?
At least one person that blows hot air. Take your time dont rush.
I blow hot air - as well as every land animal on the planet. What's the challenge in that? Cloth with real EM properties would be able to enhance psychokinesis.

If you were riding on a spaceship to Mars would you want to play pool with artificial gravity or Virtual Pool using your hands?

Your hands are busy with keyboard, did you need a handout with directions?

Of course, we all know that guy who hits down. He’s in every pool room. Plays 3 balls better than you but badgers you to gamble and then asks for 8-7 and the breaks. “I can’t make a ball! I don’t even play this game no more!” He proclaims, as he ambles off with your money.

Would it be a catastrophe if the 8-ball and rotation games rule-makers just eliminated the double-hit on the cue ball rule? I say - "Let 'em play on" if it is a single stroke (not a push), and the cue tip doesn't hit the object ball. Slow-motion camera shows many double-hits for previously presumed legal hits. BCA regional referees have made a travesty of the official double-hit rule, by allowing unwritten 'rules of thumb' that also filter down to the local BCA leagues and training for new players. If BCA leagues can't effectively enforce their written rule, then remove it.
Allowing the so-called double-hit on the cue ball would allow another 'skill' to be added to a players arsenal.

Allowing more than one hit on the cueball during a shot would make things very messy and would prevent the skill to avoid a double-hit. It's like when I play in cueball foul only events and players are losing control of the cue, hands and are hitting balls all over the place. It's ugly and messy and should not be allowed. It's a game that takes skill and elegance to play, let's not make it into a drunken Friday night shambles that we see take place at the bar. It's bad enough the let the jump cue in pro tournaments and took away the skill to jump with a full cue, we don't need to dumb down the game any more where players can just hit the cueball however they want.

Yop have to differentiate between allowable double hits and fouls.
I’m literally saying that none of that is in question. There is no other foul to consider when double hitting the cueball (aside from normal fouls like lowest ball contact). I am absolutely suggesting to dumb down the game. If people haven’t played a tournament like this, it not only can be a blast, but it takes aways any silly argument .

I think we’re so far away from the post that you commented back that I’m guessing you’ve totally forgotten the context.

We actually have this today with the silly 45degree rule. It’s a bypass rule that actually allows potentially illegal hits with one purpose being to reduce arguments.

I’m not saying to change the WPA rules, but I’ve played a dozen or more tournaments this way, and it took away any of those arguments. And the best players still won.

Say the balls are a foot apart. No foul? What about balls a few inches apart where shooting through the cue ball at an angle could allow tip contact with the object ball? You're suggesting bar rules with certain ball in hand provisos?

Doubling down just so we get to a point so that you can say you were right is a great internet game that keeps me away from this site.

Congratulations. Ignore button is now on.

Pretty rash. I thought you were cooler than that. Didn't double anything. You dismissed my point and didn't explain yours. When you remove restrictions, where do the new lines go?
