I understand this may be a stupid question and I have used the search feature: but curious as to if anyone has ever used this tip to shoot with not just as a break jump tip. I have an extra one lying around and my sneaky pete 's cue tip flew off last week and I need to put another one on.

This tip is too hard for using it as a player. It's a dedicated breaking tip

Is that phenolic or similar?I know a guy who plays with a phenolic on his shooter, has been doing it for years. It make a distintive sound on every shot but the guy plays good.

I believe it is a legal alternative to a phenolic tip but I could be wrong maybe it is to be honest I dont really keep up with what is what i heard some people talking about them at the SBE so I picked up a couple.

I thought it may be too hard and I would probably be miscueing all over the table. with it, but I am always looking to experiment. gonna pass on this one tho thanks

BTW the sneaky is just an extra cue I take down to the club to practice because all they have is fiberglass coated trash. my main player cue is a Joss
