Caution: Fake jeff olney fs on ebay

Some guy is trying to pass off a cheap Chinese cue as a Jeff Olney on ebay. Here is the link:

I thought the same thing when I seen it, and knew I had seen a symbol like the one used on that cue. Then it came to me.....it looks an awful lot like the quest cue logo to me. You can look up Quest cues on ebay and see that the logo is about identical. I just have not seen an olney cue use a symbol like that........so it struck me odd.

Not an Olney

Yep it is a Quest, back afew years ago, in pool league, the same looking cue was given to one of the top players.

That's what I figured...it looked too much like a quest cue lol. I don't really know about Quest cue quality or anything seeing that I have never played with one....but I have seen them on ebay and they usually only go for around $150 at the highest. Well hopefully the guy took the cue in on a trade or bought it thinking it was a olney and has just posted it thinking that it was. We will see, I wrote him and told him that its more than likely a Quest cue, so we will see if he does the right thing and takes it down or auctions it according to what it really is. Hopefully someone don't get beat by thinking its an olney, too many people scamming these days.

Well the guy wrote back and said thanks for the info....so maybe he didn't realize it was indeed a Quest cue he had...lol

The seller updated the listing and now warns that the identify of the cue is in question.
