A new rumor has surfaced about a TOP PLAYER being involved in a scuffle in a pool hall and was seriously injured within the past couple of days.

Anyone heard about this?

Is this another Tony Watson rumor? Every few weeks another rumor surfaces about Little T getting beat up.

You mean Rafeal Martinez wasn't murdered in Mexico and Marco Marquez isn't in a Mexican prison?

I have not heard anything about that.

The sad thing is for every Tony Watson or Rafael Martinez 'rumor", there are many factual accounts of this stuff happening. Maybe not getting beat up, or in the hospital, or in jail, or on the run, or on their death bed every day, but it happens enough that many rumors may in fact prove to be true. Some of our best players live hard life styles.

I think Joey's was a good question. It ain't going to get answered on AZBaseball or AZBasketball. Since it's a pool question, what better source than here?
 
Not too many top players get hurt in or outside a poolroom. A lot of shortstops do get hurt that hustle in the wrong place and really don't know how to hustle. Most pro players and strong shortstops that get hurt get hurt from their banker or a few of his friends for dumping. U'd be suprised to know how often that happens. Other than that the risk is a lot lower than a bridge builder. Johnnyt

That wasnt the only incident, He called out a guy everyone likes right after he got back to the States. He seems to be in a fighting mood, Im just guessing.

I just finished up a Travis Trotter tongue in cheek thread that went over like a lead balloon, so I'm still in that funny mode. Were you likewise in a "funny" mode, or do you really think Immonen is spelled MnM? :eek: :D

Either way, the Finn couldn't like his lips in a fight. Especially with....him.
