Holy crap that's a cool Huebler! And two shafts!

If you talked to Terry then you got the scoop. I doubt I can add anything.

Value is always a touchy subject. I saw a Huebler go for 5K last year that I didn't think was worth anything near that.

I also saw one go on Ebay recently that most didn't even know was a Huebler. A very, very early cue that was worth at least 3-4x what it sold for IMHO. There were people who thought it was a Paradise. Way off. I didn't bid. I should have. I should have owned that cue.

Value is touchy...and I don't like to touch it.

IMHO a cue like that is a keeper. But a lot of people change cues like I change socks.

I love that cue.

And I am Huebler fan.

Rarity? It's a Huebler Custom. It's rare.

What did Terry say about the logo? Does it predate the Custom Shop Cue engraved on the bottom of the butt cap?

Nice cue!

Somebody got a decent deal on that on eBay.

I am curious about the label, I have only seen it on a few Chess Cues.

The guy sold it out from under me.. He wouldn't use PayPal when I asked him.. That's Always a Sign of a Scam!! I know for a fact he's dealing outside of EBay also.. BUYER BE WARE!

That sucks!

When you posted it I thought you had it.

Then I saw it on Ebay and I got confused. Now I get it. Really improper if you were in discussion for a deal.

ChopDoc, it kinda went like this... I said I would buy, he was very persist about doing the deal, When I started to explain how I would only be comfortable doing it through PayPal the conversation went silent. I woke up the next morning and it was on Ebay. IMAGINE MY SURPRISE!
I also know he ended the auction early meaning someone like most wanted to do the deal away from Ebay!
I just hope the buyer has sense to not F&F the money.

His name was something like Handiman but not exactly sure.

Well, not much to do about it now. It's a nice cue and I hope it makes it into good hands and is properly cared for.

I have a Chess Set that I bought for a friend in 1985 with the same custom logo. I also have a custom birdseye that I bought at the same Golden West in Tacoma a year after that has the Custom Shop Sept. 1986 on butt cap so I think they are close time wise.

Interesting, I looked anthed earliest custom I have is 1986 with the Custom Shop & date on the butt cap.

I'll call Terry and see what he's says about the logo.

Nice Cue

This is one of my favorite cues ever and I'm fortunate to own one. I had some stacked leather added to it several years after buying it and it just made it look better than ever. One shaft is 2 inches longer, so it can be a 60" cue.

Nice cue, thanks for sharing! Hueblers run hot or cold, either a ton or none to be found.
Quite a few custom shop cues on eBay now, and they are asking top dollar, but they look brand new.
