This is the only section that I thought would fit this topic, hope its ok to post here.
Would saddle soap be ok to use? I started on a small section and the cloth is turning black. Just want to make sure the soap wont pull out too much dye.

I wet the cloth, wrung it out, applied some soap, rubbed it on then removed with a dry section of the cloth. Is the the prefered method?

I wanted to try Lexol or another auto/upholstry cleaner, but being Thanksgiving, nothing is open.

Would they have better results?
Thanks in advance.

I have a pair of python boots. I bet every AZer knows this by now.
I always throw that in when someone asks about cleaning a lizard wrap.

Feibings, make a reptile cleaner and conditioner for exotic skin.

It will clean your case and soften the skin. There maybe other products out there that can do the trick as well, but this is what I use and it does the job just fine.

I think the case is made of leather, just embossed with the lizard pattern. But Im not sure. Does anyone know? Ive PMed JB.

Contact John Barton...he makes them, so he can tell you how to care for them. If it's regular leather, saddle soap might work...but again, I defer to John.

Sorry, when you said Lizard, I thought you meant the kind with scales.

If it is genuine lizard, you can still use the reptile cleaner on it.
If it is just a print, any leather cleaner and conditioner will do it for you.
Or the saddle soap as someone mentioned.
