I picked up a new shaft for one of my Cogs last week at Joe's shop. He had a number of players cues in progress. They were mostly wood wraps (curly and Birds Eye). Bacote, ebony and cocobolo variants. The woods and execution were beautiful and the finish was flawless. Silver stitch rings, no inlay. I have two with wood wraps and they are fantastic!
The prices were very reasonable, certainly less than what I paid for the ones I have.
So if you have been thinking about one for awhile, it might be a good time. Now that there is snow on the ground the odds of getting a hold of him "off the course" are much higher.
I am just a player and have no vested interest in his business. Just thought someone might be interested. Hopefully Joe doesn't get pissed at me for posting this
I think this might be great time to get a Cog.
