I'd like to thank both the very tired ladies for putting on such a nail bitting show. Thanks to Lenny for streaming over 13 hours of it for free ( I hope all hit the donate button). Thanks to all involved in the broadcast. I hope these two ladies hook up again in the same game when both are not tierd. Maybe a BB next time:grin:. Borana started out very well leading 7-2. Melinda came back to pull even at 12-12. then i went back and forth a bit, but Melinda got to a 17-14 lead. Borana stuck her there and reached the hill 20-17. melinda got to 19 and had a chance to make it hill hill. It was a very lonng day for both and Borana won 21-19.

A learning experience for both ! -
It was a very close match. Momentum went back and forth. I think Melinda has a little edge on shot making and Borana has a little edge on cueball control.

Borana has alot of good fundamental traits in working order. Just needs more experience.

Melinda how ever needs to work on those same fundamentals and she would be able to control her cueball better. That would put her way ahead next time.

Bottom line is cueball control is more important than being a shot maker !

That match was truly enjoyable...it wound up being everything I hoped it would be,too bad they had to stay up for so long you could really tell it affected their game.Cheers to both those young ladies and our host who brought us the match with little rest on his part.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I was there at Pool Sharks just to see what all the fuss was about. I expected to see a lot of "B" level play but was a bit surprised by how good they played the first couple of hours I was there. I wished I could've stuck around but I was flat tired out. Congrats to Borana.

Congratulations to Borana on a win in a long tough battle after a long day. Congratulations to both ladies, neither disappointed. They came to play all out and they did just that. At the end of a set there has to be a winner and a loser but both ladies acquitted themselves well. I hope to see them both in action again, together or with other players.

I don't know about Borana but it sure seems that Melinda has caught the action bug. I'm pretty sure we will see her again soon.

I heard melinda talking on the tar stream last night it was funny she said borana and company needs to let her know when they can do it again in NY "so I can start eating granola and ramen again to save up and fire it" both of them have some serious heart but I agree melinda seems like she wants all the action she can get.

I wonder if they will play on a Diamond again? If they go to Gold Crowns with easier pockets a lot of those misses turn into makes. You know what that means.

Granted I fell asleep for alot of the set, but correct me if I am wrong borana looked like she was the one missing the easy balls so yeah that being the case they go to a gold crown borana might show case a blow out.

And OMG plays on 4" GC's and would shoot very well on a 4 1/2" GC. Both players were tired. We didn't see anywhere the best from either of them. A rematch is needed IMO. Johnnyt

I agree with you johnny I dont think either player played their best game I have to say from what I saw of OMG's warm up I thought she played a little better before the match actually started, I also thought with the little time borana spent warming up that she was gonna be in a lil trouble, but she just came out firing and played pretty good, I look forward to seeing the rematch.

I watched most of it and loved it. Nothing better than seeing 2 (pretty)
girls step up and gamble. Both of em shot good too. U could tell
they were tired but I wouldve been too. Now hopefully more girls
will get up and follow they're lead. Like cdlg or Courtney peters.

Btw I love u borana. <3. Seriousley though, u r a good player
not just a pretty face. I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised.

a beautiful match!

I was at pool sharks for the first part and when omg was warming up, i thought she was def. the shot maker, and when Borona was warming up she seemed to miss alot. But that all went out the window when the match startred. I had to leave when it was 7-6 but watched online later.. Yes they missed, made mental errors, but all players do when they are tired. But they showed alot of heart and I would def. go see them again. Thanks to both of these fine looking women and to Lenny and crew for all your hard work.
