Take this request to the "Aiming Conversation" Forum. They all have multiple copies and would probably be willing to part with one. Good luck!

Shuff, Shuffett, Klatt, Appleton, Moore, Van Boening. What a bunch of noobs, huh?

Appleton - ghostball (per a recent article of his in billiards digest)
Van boening - side of ferrule aiming (per his aiming video)

I understand what you are getting at regarding systems, that many of the best players use one, and I agree, but it also seemed like they were all lumped in with CTE by your post.

Lumped in your mind, there was no mention of CTE

Thread about CTE pro video....

Post says aiming systems are for Noobs

Post defends by listing pro players (4 CTE guys and 2 non CTE guys).

Poster clarifies the 2 who aren't CTE in CTE thread.

You say no mention of CTE in CTE video thread while bringing up CTE?

Looks like this is a CTE thread.

You can cover up half of the table with a curtain like cte demonstrates and still make the balls without any aiming system. (some guy posted a video demonstrating this)

With cte we are talking just center ball as well...which technically doesn't even exist. When you allow for deflection, swerve and throw, any aiming system will break down.

Actually I just ran a test. I was standing behind a shot...closed my eyes...dropped to the table with eyes closed...stroked and made the ball. This takes the "close your eyes" stroking drill and the curtain test to the extreme because my eyes are closed before I even get down on the shot.
(see att for the shot)

I'll do a video if I have to, but if you try it you will see it's not that hard. Hey! I just created a new aiming system!

I call it the "Jedi" aiming system. :)
I am closing my eyes anyway but pulling my hood down because you can't see my eyes. Your eyes must be closed in the standing position BEFORE you get down on the shot.

LOL...they may think they are employing an aiming system...but they aren't. You can cover up half of the table with a curtain like cte demonstrates and still make the balls without any aiming system. With cte we are talking just center ball as well...which technically doesn't even exist. When you allow for deflection, swerve and throw, no aiming system is going to help you...its ridiculous. The people who use cte are probably the same people who use the diamonds as a reference...btw I agree that the diamonds should be removed...no need for them.

Actually I just ran a test. I was standing behind a shot...closed my eyes...dropped to the table with eyes closed...stroked and made the ball. This takes the "close your eyes" drill one step further because my eyes are closed before I even get down on the shot.
(see att for the shot)

You may not think you're using an aiming system but you are. EVERYONE aims at something. Just because you don't believe it doesn't make it wrong for everyone else. Go ahead, make your video, it won't change my mind or anyone else.

Here it is....again, you can't really see but my eyes are closed BEFORE getting down on the shot...I cannot "see" where my bridge hand is landing in relation to the cue ball...as you can see from some shots I am off to the side. Yes it is cheating if you close your eyes while getting down on the shot...they must be closed in the standing position.
