Cue repair school??

I think there are some books and videos that could help you. Look up chris hightower or cue components.

Several cuemakers offer a cue-making school, but the only one I ever saw mention specifically cue-repairing was Mr. Bludworth. He just came out of retirement, but I don't know if he is still offering this or not. You may get in touch with him.

There is a great book by Chris Hightower that I highly recommend to get you started! Videos are produced by Hightower also, as well as Cue Components, Unique Products and others out there also. Dennis Diekman also has a book out that is packed full of useful info also.

I would personally get training (hands on or video) on the lathe that you are going to be working on. I think Chris Hightower has the best deal for the money. You get your lathe, video and a lifetime of knowledge and assistance from Chris himself. His customer service is top notch!

I'm not degrading other lathes or companies, but I'm going to stick with Hightower for a long time. Can't beat em'!

Good luck,
Zim

Another thing to look into is who (Cuemakers/repairman) is in your area? Talk to them and see if they need any help with anything, you may be able to learn something that way!
