Fred Fechter's Cue Sports College in Peoria, IL was destroyed in a fire on the 25th of this past November. For more news and photos of the aftermath check out Cue Sports College on Facebook. Mr. Fechter has not solicited any donations to help restore the school but donations have come in anyway and you can find out how to help on their Facebook page.

Oh wow. Look at all the pics and memorabilia on the wall that could never be replaced for any amount of money. What a crying shame.
 
I lost everything I had in a house fire years ago. The emotional and mental toll is worse than the financial one. Very sad to see this. We have a lot of pictures and memories on the wall that could never be replaced. Makes me nervous just to see those fire pics.
 
Oh crap! That totally sucks! I really hope they can restore it back to its former glory, but that gotta hurt. My consolation to the patrons and the owner.:frown:
 
That's horrible. If someone would be so kind as to post the contact information or donation information here then I and my colleagues will try to help in some way to restore the decorations.
 
As bad as it looks, items can be replaced. Hopefully no one lost their life. That is the important thing.
 
What a shame. Fred had one of the nicest training centers available. Hope he can rebuild.

How heartbreaking! I was two weeks old when my grandparents' home burned to the ground. We got out with whatever we had on at the time {with me, not much:embarrassed2:}. Fire can be truly devastating.
 
Having gone through building my own Billiards Sports Academy/Shop (Crown City Billiards), it hurt a lot to see these pics.

What a great facility!

I wish Fred all the best in a re-build; hopefully he was insured!
