If anyone is consistently making trim rings and would like a special project, how much for this design? I would like 2"-3" rod to use in butt sleeve, bordering the handle and the joint.
These will be used in a very special cue.

Thanks,
Zim

Zim,

I can do them for you, but it may be a better idea for you to supply the veneers. They come in so many colors & shades, and it sounds like you have something particular in mind, you can probably match your design better than I. I'm also a little confused on how you want the veneers stacked. If you want to supply all the marterials, and I'll just cut the slots for you, that's ok also. It may be a week or so til I can do it though, my CNC spindle's armature exploded at 45000 RPM the last week and I'm waiting on my new spindle to arrive.
I'm also doing 4th axis engraving for some other cuemakers if you ever need anything like that done. I can engrave pins, engrave names with any windows compatable font and also do some scrimshaw like engraving from line art and sketches, caricatures, etc. I recently did a cue with 9 Corvettes wrapped around it.

Yeah! The one that blew up was a "Precise" spindle, I bought on ebay used. With the new collets I had to purchase from the MFGR I had about $650 in it which was about 10-15% of the new retail price for the unit. I purchased one of these off an ebay seller and am looking forward to receiving it! Looks like it should workout real well for under $500 new. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...4&ssPageName=MERC_VIC_RSCC_Pr4_PcY_BIN_Stores

Just more hot air!

Sherm,
If I supply the black phenolic rod and veneers with a detailed picture and description, how much will you charge to cut slots and glue veneers? Email or PM me with a price, if you prefer not to post here.
Thanks,
Zim
