Hello all, I am thinking about purchasing a cue from Dannycue.com while I work on the one that I currently have on layaway. I'm just interested to know if anyone else has any experience doing business with that company. I contacted them via their website and have had regular and timely correspondence with one of their employees. So far all the interaction has been great. The only thing that concerns me is that cues all come with very intricate inlays with precious materials all over the place, but the prices don't reflect it at all. Their site also boasts that each cue is handmade to order. Which all sounds great, but again the prices don't seem to reflect it. I do know that they're manufactured out of the Philippines, which may have some bearing on the pricing, I'm really not sure. I just wanted to hear from anyone else that has bought from them if possible. Are the materials real? Do they hit as well as they look? Any information at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Cheap cue from Philippines, I'd say real materials, poor construction and likely to wrap going by every other cheap cue review from that area. Better off with a Players or something.

Hey there,

I've never heard of this brand, but, I do know that the cues they show on their website are the cheapest filipino cues that you can buy. I own several of them, they are not worth the money that this website is asking.

I used to buy cues like that on the filipino ebay site, many years ago, they are very poorly made, the inlays are outlined with permanent marker to cover the bad work they have done, the "exotic" wood they use is just regular wood painted with different colors, for example, maple but painted black to look like ebony etc.

If you are lucky, you'll reveice a cue that looks more or less okay, but they definitely don't play great.

I used to buy the cues for $60 or so.
