Just finished up this unique cue. The full length core is purple heart and the
forearm and butt sleeve are figured Sapele. The handle area is Dragon Skin.

are elk antler and the pin is SS.
The shaft is made from "old growth" maple that is not white-white. It is off
color but is dead straight and hits beautifully. The ferrule is Micarta-H, 12.7mm
and the tip is a Triangle slightly pressed. Tip can be changed.
The butt weighs 15.8 ounces and the shaft weighs 4.5 for a combined weight
of 20.3 ounces.
I took this cue to the pool hall and played a couple of racks with it. I was so
impressed by the balance and hit I was tempted to keep it for myself. This
cue is like a thorough bred race horse--it wants to run/play and almost plays
by itself. If you are looking for that one-in-a-hundred great playing cue this
may well be it. Price is $395 CONUS.
