Does anyone know Jeremy Cantrell, aka. "Worm" from North Georgia?

I'm sure several of you know Worm from the Clarkesville area of North Georgia. You may have seen him at a tourney in Athens, Atlanta, or Macon areas. He is about 5 and a half feet tall, late 20's, and likes to bid in calcuttas, bet on matches, stake people, etc...

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know what a piece of shit this guy is. He owed me $615 for about 4 months. Not a gambling debt, mind you, but a case where I put the money in the kitty for him in a card game because he had always been good for it.

He works at Wal-Mart but he walks around with $10K+ in his pocket due to being a low level drug dealer. He doesn't have a checking account, any credit, drives a $500 car, and dresses in rags, but he carries around every single cent to his name, lol.

I got $500 of my debt back because I found out that another guy owed him $500 and I headed it off at the pass and got it before Worm had a chance to get it. Then yesterday at Stick's tourney I approached him and said I needed to get the other $115 because it had been several months and I know he had several thousand on him. His response was that he didn't remember it.

Maybe he does this because he thinks he's so small that nobody will beat the shit out of him or just because he's such a piece of white trash. Who knows. I almost dropped him right there, but out of respect for Stick, I didn't . So, I've wrote the $115 off, but I'm gonna make it a point to embarrass the shit out of him every where he goes. Thoughts? Advice?

I believe you did exactly the right thing there and putting it on here too. Too many lawyers now to go around decking losers. By outing him on here you will cost him money and save other people money. Johnnyt

lol, great scene. And there is some merit to that. It only cost me $115 to get rid of him. Now I get to embarrass him every time I see him until he says something to me and then I get to kick the shit out of him.

The thing is that he told me he was going to come by my workplace and pay me about 4 different times and never showed up. Then he made up some sob story about loaning his brother $7000. I talked to his brother and he said it was $100, lol. He is a habitual liar. It's just a slap in the face that he is walking around with a wad all the time and can't pay me the money he owes me.

I love it when idiots like this burn bridges. He has now not only exhausted anything that I would ever do for him, but also anyone that I can tell not to help him.

Curious

I loaned this guy $200.00 a few years back and then he decided to move back to his home town with out paying me back.
I know this has nothing to do with pool and if I gave his name,99.9% of the people on here wouldn't know him. So that's where the questions lies,is this the thread where I should threaten to lay a beaten on him and let everyone know that they shouldn't loan this guy any money.

I would guess if he was to read what you wrote and took you to court, he would win some more of your money. I think lawyers could have a field day with suing AZ members for these kind of posts. My guess is that most lawyers feel it is a crap shoot to as whether people the people who defame people all the time have anything to actually win from them in court. Here is my advice, go take what you wrote to a lawyer and ask him if you said anything that could cause legal problems. You have made it clear you intend to ruin his reputation, so you should have proof of all your accusations handy, since you say you plan to continue doing so at every turn.

The reason I started the thread is because I know for a fact that a lot of people that will read it do know "Worm". Almost every thread that is started about someone stiffing someone or doing something underhanded in the pool world has had a positive effect on getting resolution. Since this is the biggest pool and billiards site in the world then what better place to have such threads.

In any case, I get to start my quest on embarrassing him every chance I get.

In your case, since it isn't pool related then I doubt it would be the place, but you never know.

lol, I highly doubt that Worm, who has been in trouble with the law several times, is gonna take me to court over a post I made that stated the truth about everything. But, if that's the case then bring it on Tyrone. I'm quite certain I have the wherewithall to do it and I'm also quite certain that he doesn't.

I'll say clueless, why didn't you look at his cards before you covered the pot. Really though you might want to erase your post if he knows some crackheads, cause they will do some bad things to someone for an 8ball. Peace to you Vette as I have heard only good things from you.--Leonard

lol, just like I said. He went on the books for the money and I covered it at the end of the game. Crackheads can't get into my neighborhood. We have the newest anti-crackhead security available.

I'll bet anthing there is a crackhead in every neighborhood in America, I've seen some very important and powerfull people smokin that sheite.--Leonard

worm!!!

Well i feel your anger, and thanks for not starting anything in my room, i cant screen everyone that comes in, i just hope this post does not give the pool world the wrong impression of my place?? as i have no controle over card debts, but let someone try to airball one of my players and he can kiss his ass goodbye, as he will never play in my room again!!i think if you ask anyone that knows me and my room i would get a A plus, as i love the game. as my father once said be carful who you run with!!!!!!:confused::confused:

Worming

What a shame this forum is being used to disseminate this type of trash.

Once again.

Jam - we don't know each other but i love your posts
But in this case i disagree. This is an excellent way to
use this forum.
If the pool world needs de-Worming,leave it to a Vette

Stick,
That's the reason I left early yesterday because I was so mad and I didn't want to cause a scene during the calcutta if he started bidding on people. This was not a gambling debt. I had to cover the money that he got on the books for so it came out of my pocket as a loan to him because he said he was gonna pay me the next day.

It's the same as someone writing you a check for their card money and then it being bad.

Anyway, I'll definitely vouch for Stick being a good man. I've always liked the old man and we've been friends for a long time. Met him on the golf course when I was about 12 years old.

I think the better question here is not why did you leave but why were you not at work???????????:scratchhead:

You got a new car to pay for and you better schmooooze the old lady for January.
