Final 7, next round starts at 6 est.

Efren Reyes(duh) although Matlock almost gave him his first loss.
Matlock(already won banks)
Jeremy Jones(knocked out Joyner)
Alex Pagaulayan(?) gave HillBilly Bryant his first loss then they redrew each other and Alex then knocked Bryant out.
Teschetter(?) I think, He is a craps dealer at the Palms in Vegas.
Buddy Hall, knocked out u.s. open champ Gabe Owen.
And maybe biggest surprise of all from California, Yeh
Tony Chohan, big T Rex.

Finally the site working? No one posted for 2 days it looks like. wow.

To those of us in the west it comes to no surprise that Tony C is in the mix. This young man has the potential and talent. If he can just keep his head on right. He plays often with Billy Palmer who was the only one to beat Efren in the tournament last year. Great match on Accustats from last years Derby, GO EFREN!!!!!!!

Well I am from the West and it is still a surprise and he got a favorable last couple of draws. These guys can flat out play, especially Reyes, and Hall.

I like Reyes to take it agian,,,, :) :)

Correction,, Correction, Correction

I am so sorry people, I got some bad information on a match when I ducked it is so hard to watch everything first hand.

First Buddy Hall did knock out Gabe Owen, but then Hall got knocked out by Cory Duel who had a rebuy left and Cory is still playing. He is matched up with Jeremy Jones.
Also when I missed the last shot of the Pagaulyan, Hillbilly match, I asked the guy next to me who won and he said Alex, Well it was Hillbilly who won and now he is matched up with this Tschetter guy.
So the final seven are
Reyes
Matlock(playing each other it was 1-1

Tsschetter
Hillbilly Bryant

Duel
Jeremy Jones

Tony Chohan got the bye

Only Reyes has a buy back left.

So sorry I screwed that up to all the fans I misinformed

But at least I ran back across street in pouring rain to correct.

Does anyone know how Efren came out in the banks? Does he have a strong chance at the all around again. Looks like Matlock is a favorite for it.

He lost to Larry Nevel, whom I'm surprised didn't get further through the field. Efren then lost to another guy whom I do not know - red-head, beard. Surprised the heck out of everyone.
Larry Nevel though, was playing beautifully the few times I watched 'em. Then, the last day I was at the DCC (Jan 19) he just absolutely collapsed against Brumbeck and couldn't bank a one! It's surprising to me, I've never seen Larry break down completely like that. He's usually a deadpan poker-face.
