I bought a couple of shooting gloves and after a few hours they started falling apart at the seams. I have come to like them, but hate to buy more if they are going to fall apart again.

Any recommendations for a good and durable glove?

The new version of Kamui glove is great. Been using one for 2months or so and its like new. I also have the old version, its starting to get worn but is still intact and functional with about five of six months of active play with it.

The new one is better imo, as the front finger is made from a more slippery material. Molinari will be the next on my list when I run out of Kamuis, though that will be while it seems

after a few hours? how in the world do you wear out a glove that fast?

You buy the 10 pack of cheapos for $3.50 and quickly find that single ply toilet paper from a gas station is more durable than those gloves. On the bright side, I have 9 gloves in the car in case I ever have to crap in the woods.

As I said

All I did was play pool for a few hours and they started coming apart at the seams and got holes on end of fingers. I bought the XL size and they seemed to fit and work ok, just not very durable.

They are the black Pro Series gloves I got from Syberts when I was in Michigan last fall.
I paid about 8 bucks for a pair and bought 2 pair and I am done with that brand and ready to buy some thing better.

That made me laugh. Thanks :D

My support goes to gloves from Pool Dawg. They're cheap and last a long time. IMHO, the secret is to rinse the glove after use in plain water, then let dry over night.

Shoot safe.

I actually bought those for my home table as I dont allow powder and of the 10, only 2 have had an issue.

I personally carry the Molinari in my bag for use.

I had bought a Predator one and love the feel of it, but on the palm there is a patch of rubber for grip and I found it started to come off and small pieces were left on my table so I stopped using it and went to a Sir Joseph one. Do you guys wash your gloves after you have played with it for awhile?

I had the same problem with the Predator glove. My solution was to put super glue on the pads that would flake off all over the table. The super glue made the pads last much longer.

The Molinari gloves had cheap stitching that came loose way too soon.

The ones I'm using now are not that expensive, but seem to be holding up surprisingly well. I think that they are more durable the Sir Joseph's.

Cheap Cuetec glove. It works, is cheap enough, fits bigger hands well enough, is available almost everywhere. Seams are very intact until now for me.

Do not touch velcro, though!

i got 20 from azb's own Cesrdajr, 10 months later and i'm still alternating between the first two out of the pack
in 2013 i bought 4 colors in the 10 for 25 deal, black, blue, gray and green
found the green ones lasted longer than the rest so when i bought the 20, they were all green
they're holding up better than sir joseph, predator, and some cheap amazon ones i bought before
and at 10 gloves for 25 bucks, can't beat the deal

I use Predator glove. I only like gloves that are sized (not one size fits all) and I want velcro on the wrist to tighten as needed.

I shoot with an OB cue, so I'm not really happy about this, but it's the best glove so far. If someone knows if there is a glove as good out there, price is no object, I will buy it. It has to also NOT be the kind with the finger tips cut off.

I've never worn a glove but I'm in the market for one now. I've heard good things about molinari gloves. Anyone else?

Gene "The Glove" Catron was the originator of wearing a pool glove. It began when he was in the army. He wore the green wool inner glove of the 2 piece army glove,
wool glove inside a leather glove. There's a pool glove that would last a long time!

I've used a single Predator for, I don't know but it seems two years easily by now...could be wrong but it's been a while.
Definitely recommend those.
Kamui is highly over priced....but such is life in Kamui land.
I don't like the Molinary or Kamui because of the fingers sticking out partially.
This is definitely not a feel I like.

I don't often use a glove, but keep one or two in my bag for those extra humid days when everything is sticky. I really like the Molinari glove, I've only shot with it a couple of times but it feels great. I've had a Sir Joseph velcro glove for years that's held up fairly well to infrequent use, but the Molinari is built so much better with the ventilation and open fingertips.

I've still got at least a couple pair of those from my Army days! They're definitely built to last, but would be hot and sweaty as hell in the summertime.
