Maybe my memory is off, but I seem to recall a time when there was maybe 1 800 level player in the world, now there is a whole bunch of them. Is that the nature of the system like inflation where players are not getting better but the numbers are still increasing? Will this keep happening until the ratings hit 900 and everyone is still playing the same but ratings are all 100 points higher?

The obvious answer is that more robustness fills out the system and you see that the rest of the world has a slew of monster talents.
