Hey guys. I have a pristine condition early 1970's Joss with an exposed weight bolt and ivory hoppe ring. The cue is in pristine condition. From what I was told by Bill at Cornerstone Cues, the finish is original but the cue was re-wrapped in Cortland by Pete Tascarella. This cue really was babied it's whole life. The weight is 20 oz. and the shaft diameter is 12.7mm. The cue comes with one original shaft only (the darker old growth shaft). It has some nice subtle birds eyes when seen under the right light. Incredible shaft. Both cue and shaft are dead straight. The ivory ferrule has an almost invisible baby crack (less than a mm) starting near the tip (It's so minute I couldn't get it to show up in pics, however I try to mention every detail as best I can). The cue hits incredibly solid.

I hope Bill doesn't mind me borrowing his pics, however the cue is in the exact same pristine condition as I received it. I was always too nervous to play with it much. I can text additional pics if you want.

Price Drop: the price is now $SOLD$ shipped in the U.S.. Any questions, feel free to pm me. Cheers.

Cue is off to the bay...http://www.ebay.ca/itm/221386895398?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649]

It is very nice and refreshing to read a sales thread that has good details, and has a real "ring" of honesty. That's a nice cue Brett.
It's also very rare to see a bumperless Hoppe style of this vintage. My personal favorite style. Have a great day,and GLWYS.

Thanks Marc. I try to be as upfront as I can. It is a helluva cue. It has that old school solid hit that made alot of great players choose a Joss back in the 70s

Forgot to add, the cue has a 5/16x18 pin. According to Dan Janes this was only used on a dozen or so early Joss cues
