Materials are described by Mezz as laminated Blackwood with Micarta and Purpleheart inlays and nickel silver rings. Also has the Mezz interchangeable weight bolt system (I think, no idea how to get to use it) and the X-rubber bumper that fits the Mezz Pro Extension. (This definitely fits as I used one on it)
The butt needs a re-wrap as the linen is coming apart at the top (although if you don't mind going ghetto style you can just wrap some electrical tape around it and play with it like I did!) and ideally a re-finish as it has numerous little bumps and nicks on it, some of which show up in the pictures.
It is dead straight and plays just as well as every other Mezz cue I've used. You can fit any of their United Joint shafts as well as most standard 5/16x14 shafts.
