I had Darrin Hill (Hills cues ) make this snakewood and ebony handle wrapless butterfly splice with 1 piece of ivory on each side of the butterfly splice. 12.75 shafts with micarta ferrules and morri's.
I had him put in a titanium pin to help with keeping the weight down. As well as having it made so weight can be lowered or raised in the butt. As the ebony and the snakewood are both heavy and I shoot with a light cue.
Now the weights:
butt can go as low as 14.7 , and as high as 16.2
2 shafts that each shaft weighs 3.8
One of the shafts has very light play and the other has not hit a ball.
Nice Snakewood cue
