FS: New Kent Davis 8-point Snakewood/Ebony Recut King w/ivory inlays!

Here's a distinctive new 8-point cue design from California's own Kent Davis. The forearm is super stripey hard curly maple with recuts of ebony with well figured snakewood points with a maple veneer. There is a double spear inlay of ivory and paua in each long point. The rear sleeve is figured snakewood with thin maple ring and ebony band. 4 ivory oval inlays with double ivory/paua spear inlay motif. Black linen wrap. Ivory dash rings at joint and buttcap. Super nice shafts, (4.04 and 3.99oz.) 13mm with melanine ferrules and Talisman tips. Cue weighs 19.24/ 19.29oz., with an ideal balance point of 18-7/8" from buttcap. Joint protector set included. $1600.00 shipped in CONUS. NOW $1475 shipped in CONUS! Offered with conditional buyer approval!

Martin,
That's a stunning looking Kent Davis cue. Those inlays are beautiful.

Just to have an idea, all Davis' cues have laminated forearms or just some of them? Matt (lenoxmjs) quoted in another thread that no used cues are showing around which means these cues have "something" that noone wants to leave it. I like mystery :)

The ebony nosed KD cues are usually cored but not laminated. With some exception most KD cues are radially laminated with hardwood core. Core is most often purpleheart. Real fine build quality and best woods available in KD cues. I'm proud to be an official dealer!
