- Shaft #1 12.3 mm and weighs 3.3 ounces.
- Shaft #2 12.38 mm and weighs 3.7 ounces.
- 5/16-14 joint pin.
- Sterling silver sleeve over stainless steel joint.
- Birdseye maple front.
- Six ebony points (3 long and 3 short).
- black leather grip (soft)
- Ebony back.
- Sterling silver rings in a, b, c, and d positions.
- Sterling silver inlay throughout the cue & shafts.
- Butt weight 15.7 ounces
- Shafts length 28.75"
- Butt length 28.75"
- Total weight 19 to 19.5 ounces depending on the shaft.
- Noteworthy things...
- This cue was made in May 12, 1978.
- This cue was refinished and re-wrapped by Mr. Black himself March 19, 2012.
- Mr. Black noted that this may be the first "Black Night" cue he ever made.
- I have the letter from Mr. Black stating this.
- The shafts have seen a lot of use.
- One shaft is perfectly straight and the other has about .028" of run out in it. It should still roll fairly well.
- One of the shaft has a small crack on the pilot and above the collar. It is also missing one of the smaller silver inlays.
- The butt is perfectly straight.
