What about the legal problem - irrelevant?!
Sympathy and animosity overruling legal aspects - can't get over how simple the problem is, and yet, no one cares to see it.
The title line of the thread reads "J Flowers", a brand name owned by we all know whom. Not sure about laws in the U.S., but in my country, if someone claimed they were selling a "REAL Mercedes", but pictured this:
…a judge would exercise leniency only if the seller could rightfully claim
ignorance in such matters - if he happened to be a car seller or expert of any kind, then: OUCH!!
Needless to add, in my neck of the woods, no one would be surprised if the brand name owner (= the Daimler group - or in the case of "J Flowers": we all know who) interfered! Nor insinuate the brand name owner were "hijacking" a car sale thread that's wrongfully claiming to be selling one of
his products.
Sorry to turn out the pedantic and hyper-correct Swiss here, but life isn't merely about sympathy and animosity, folks!
Oh, and if anyone's wondering what's pictured above: Benz's first.
Greetings from Switzerland, David.
