As pretty much everyone knows, Kevin Varney is way behind in production of cues at present. As a result, it has become really hard to get hold of his cues. I have one of his MONSTER jump-break cues available. This cue is very lightly played and has only the slightest of bruises in a couple of spots. I am not exactly sure of the wood type, but I believe it is some nicely grained goncola alves...maybe Kevin or someone else can set me straight on that. The finish is the hand rubbed finish that has that really nice feel to it.

Specifications:

-Weight: 18.7 ounces
-Handle: 9.0 ounces
-Jump Handle: 6.2 ounces
-Shaft: 3.5 ounces, 13.1mm, unbreakable black phenolic ferrule, natural linen phenolic tip
-Joint: 3/8x10 wood to wood
-Collars: Natural linen phenolic
-Forearm: Straight grain maple
-Cue body: Nicely grained goncola alves, four points all within about 1/4" of even
-Ring: Very nice black with maple dash ringwork above the butt cap
-Butt cap: Natural linen phenolic

SOLD!! Thanks!

Joe

Very, very nice cue Joe. I sell these plain for more than you have this one listed... and this one has a buttcap plus the ringwork. The ringwork is actually ebony with holly dashes. And you are correct...alves wood indeed. I'd wager this one won't last long. :)
Also...lifetime warranty on the tip & ferrule transfers to the new owner.

I also have the twin and will be offering it for sale soon.

These are really sweet cues, Kevin. I hit a few with the jump-break this afternoon. Really, really solid. The balls really explode off it.

Thank you for the kind words sir. Just so you know....the "curly" shaft on the player is somewhat hard to come by...and that particular one is from some VERY old wood. If you've noticed, DPK favored those shafts a lot on some of his early cues. ;) :)

Great looking cue...
Had to wait most of the day to see it (photobucket site is blocked at work).

Thank you for the welcome to the family.I have heard that it has become quite hard to get hold one of your cues, so when i saw this one i didn't waste too much time.
Thanks again
