Hey Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show have been at the state fair for 30 years dont sell S.Dak. short !
Somehow I suspect that "ladies and gentleman skinny and scout" was "ladies and gentlemen skinny and stout" Before too long a change here, a change there, and the original creator wouldn't recognize his own work! I see this with lyrics of songs too which I often look up especially when I see questionable phrases. Google often isn't anybody's friend!

Cool to see this longer version, but I first heard a version closer to what Korsakoff posted. Only heard it once about 40 years ago. Always remembered it. For me, this is how it goes.

I grew up in Maryland. Pretty much the same as his "Mississippi" version.
Wow - that's the hardest one to unsee that I've ever seen - even with solid circles for comparison. They're not only perfectly round, but also perfectly centered on each other.

So I saw a couple of TwistedTea™ jokes go by and I really didn't understand them. I had seen the original video where it was a primary player but I had failed to note its identity. Now I understand. But to be true to the source, its use should involve someone really, really, really asking for it.
Post a link. The whole Twisted Tea thing is something I’m not familiar with. Note that I watch zero commercials. I find them offensive.
It was the first Rob Zombie- Marilyn Manson tour, great show. Chevelle, and a bunch of good bands opened. I loaded my two and most of the nieces and nephews in a van. Road trip! The DKs were the best band there. MM did a cover of a Eurythmics song, one of the best pieces of music ever created. Zombie did his thing, it was a blast.
