Ronnie,

There are a lot of things that can be done to make the Tour more attractive. For one, get a website and post the names of your players and who is winning. Keep a tour points list and post it regularly. Post the prize money available to the points leader at the end of the season and let people know how they can chase that money. Offer a cash prize to the highest finishing lady or junior player and welcome them to the tour. Don't hide how the money is distributed. If you are making a profit, say so up front. I don't think most of us care if you make a few dollars running the tourney, just give us something we can be proud to participate in. Finally, keep the tournaments close together, not in SC and then in GA, or TN. This tourney is for amateurs; we do not have the money to travel the SouthEast for pool tournaments. Guess I gave you too much here, but hey, you asked for it (smile). Thanks for giving it a go. I hope to pick up my tour card one day before it expires.

Rod.

Thanks for the honest input. I look forward to seeing you play in our tour!

Most of these things Kings Bay Promotion already does.

Ronnie,

What is the entry fee and tour card fee?

How do you determine whether a player is "amateur" or not? Do you have to be pre-approved to play before you show up at an event?

What time do the tournaments start?

Will there be a players auction?

Will there be awards for points champions?

Thanks,
Mike

reply to questions

the tour card fee is 30.00 annually
the entrance fee is 40.00 per event

Kings Bay Promotion has a list of Top Regional money players plus a list of professional players. If you are not on this list you may play. Most people know whether they are on this list or not. Finally in the end the Tournament Director has the right to refuse entrance to any player depending on the situation.

Tournaments start shortly after players meeting which will start around 12:30 pm.

Depending on the number of players there will be a players auction this is done by the Touranment Director this is not authorized by Kings Bay Promotion.

Yes at the end of the season Kings Bay Promotions will award prizes to the top points winners.

All tournaments are race to 7 on winners side race to 5 on losers side finals race to 9.

These are not handicap tournaments the rules are set by Kings Bay Promotions.

Please see their website for complete rules and regulations.

Ronnie, Kings Bay used to do these things on their old website, but they are not doing it now. Point illustrated, find a website that reports the results of your last two tournaments. Find a website that lists your points leader board. If it is out there, someone is doing a great job of hiding it.

Thanks for letting me know.I had no idea that the points were not listed.I apologize for this and will get on it right away. And as always Thanks for your input.
