FYI, Jim of go4pool.net officially set up the cameras at Raxx and will be broadcasting the Predator 9-ball Tour's Seminole Tribe of Florida Empire State Championship this weekend at Raxx Pool Room. This is a Seminole Pro Tour Event TOO!! :)

He's also going to have commentary available. :)

NYCGrind.com will also be providing photogrpahy & write up coverage and TournamentGuidemag.com will be updating brackets for the event throughout the day.

Seems like the usual suspects of the Predator 9-ball Tour will be there with many of the Seminole Tribe of Florida's regulars to attend too.

Anyone know who is coming from Florida? Pretty sure Stevie Moore will be there.

I'll drive up if you can guarantee that the finals will be The Bazooka Gel Girl vs. Indoor Banana and TR vs ZZ. This S _ _ T is funny...all the other Azer's are going "WTF are they talking about???". Guess they will need to attend the tournament to find out!!!

Did you and TR cheer up ZZ...he seemed very motivated when I spoke to him!!! If so thanks!!!

Dont you think you should be putting the "Seminole Pro tour" part in the promotion? They are, after all, putting up most of the cash. Show the Seminoles some love here, they deserve it for supporting pool.

Someone always has to get negative. I think the "Indoor Banana vs. Bazooka Gel Girl" should be the "Hook" in the promotional advertising...just kidding but keep the posts positive...I hate negativity...it sucks!!!

OH unless you meant promoting the Seminole Pro Tour as a separate entity from the Seminole Tribe of Florida....if so, I actually gave the propage in the Tournament Announcement Post in the tournament section! :)
 
Should be a good turn out. A couple of players from CT told me they are going too!

Not being negative, only trying to point out that the Seminole Tribe is the one putting up the dough....calling it the Empire State Championship doesnt give them credit.

You all are going to spend time and effort streaming and providing coverage of the tournament, that is appreciated and a good thing, so please dont get me wrong here. I just want the Seminole Tribe to also get their props, without them there would likely be no tournament.

We all know you are just trying to give due credit where credit it deserved. Nice to hear from someone who is passionate about the game and cares about its sponsors. Tell Gail your full name and I am sure she will find the Anagram for your name!!!

Hi Uwate,

Actually, this is the 2nd year of the Empire State Championship so we can't change the name as it was a banner event last year too. (Congrats Marc Vidal!) When the Seminole Tribe asked to sponsor one of the tour's stops, they chose this one as it would be linked to a State Championship.

Thus we added to the name the "Seminole Tribe of Florida" 2009 Empire State 9-Ball Championship," to maintain it's original foundation but give promotion to a HUGE sponsor! :)
