If that's the case and you're in stroke, let's see you beat your 14.1 personal best next.

That would be.... uh....2? Never really played it before. I am going to brush up on my one Pocket game though. Trent kind of got me started on it when I went up to see him. I think I could really get into it.

both 14.1 and 1p will help your other games tremendously, i’m a recent convert and i am addicted. accu stats has a wealth of good one pocket matches to watch; i used to find it “boring” waiting for balls to get pocketed but nowadays i get so much more enjoyment out of studying the moves.

congratulations on your GC!

Great work- I miss having my GC so much being down here in Fl. without a basement to finish. - I still think that they are the best tables - at least for 14.1 and 8 ball. Those GC pockets, as standard from the factory, are the Gold standard for playing 14.1 correctly, IMO - where cheating the pocket possibilities helped to keep the center ball hit on the CB more frequent - so the game really was much more about speed control.

Think you got side job-career if you want to cover tables.
Actually we do. We cover some of the tables in town when we have time. Mostly a hobby and get a few bucks on the side. Actually, that's how we acquired the money to buy this table. That, and the little bit we earned running the local BCA league here.

I know many of you like the Tournament Blue to play on. We had to go with green.
If the table had black laminate and skirting, blue would probably be a better choice.

I dont know what it is about wood colored Gold Crowns. They just scream for green!
I agree, that's why I went with green Simonis on mine but I think this winter I will recover it in tournament blue if I can find any.

I love reading these stories of folks who finally get their own CG, especially ones where the table was formerly in a pool hall. I'm really happy for you! - GJ
I don't have this one any more. When I bought it from a bar they were selling the last of their tables to become a venue for local bands. I'd say at some point they had quite a few tables.
