Looks like the platter the balls spin on will hold 16 balls, much like a Bludworth, as opposed to a Diamond ball polisher?Bucket is just a placeholder.

12” platter, holds 8 balls.Looks like the platter the balls spin on will hold 16 balls, much like a Bludworth, as opposed to a Diamond ball polisher?
Nope, it's based on the Diamond ball polisher principle, sprocket in the middle separates the balls to avoid collision marks, and helps assist the rotation of the balls while they're spinning around the inside.Looks like the platter the balls spin on will hold 16 balls, much like a Bludworth, as opposed to a Diamond ball polisher?
That's an upgrade compared to the Harbor Freight hole saw set I bought for the AC install!a ryobi jig saw smh
Looks factory man. Well done.Slight hiccup: After paint the lid fits too tight.
I installed 1/8" Masonite spacers during the build to ensure a good fit of the lid on the cabinet because I didn't want to use fasteners to hold the lid in place. The buildup of paint on the inside of the lid has made the fit too tight.

I removed the Masonite spacers and decided to use the fuzzy side of peel and stick Velcro. It is 3/32" thick, soft and slightly compressible which yields a tight fit which equates to the lid being easy to take off and put on. I think it looks better too.

The paint has cured sooner than expected so I should be able to get the stainless trim installed on the lid this weekend, time permitting.
Once the lid is on, it’s not like you’ll see the Velcro anyway, as I assume the lid stays on except if there’s a problem?Slight hiccup: After paint the lid fits too tight.

Correct.. The lid should only need to be removed to access the platter and change out the carpet.Once the lid is on, it’s not like you’ll see the Velcro anyway, as I assume the lid stays on except if there’s a problem?
What I have in it or what it could sell for? With all the custom bits I've got about $650 in it. The corner pieces for the stainless trim on the lid were pricy.Nice $2000 polisher.![]()
I’m guessing the right buyer would be willing to pay a whole lot more than $2K for such a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. What I have in it or what it could sell for? With all the custom bits I've got about $650 in it. The corner pieces for the stainless trim on the lid were pricy.
