"Gold Crown" Ball Polisher

It comes down to do you want a piece of equipment to use and easily store vs.
building a ball cleaner machine equivalent in size to a small end table or chair.
The unit I built stores easily under the table.
I’m more into functionality and simplicity when it comes to a cleaning apparatus.
However, if I had your skills & talents, then this is the way to go but it takes awhile.
I'm in no rush.

More of a type-o than a spelling/grammar error but thanks for pointing it out. Shit happens.
Typos are usually misspellings whereas making one word into two is usually ignorance.
Now there’s always exceptions but only the original author knows for sure….jus’ sayin’.

Seeing as I’m not ignorant and have a solid grasp of the English language, you can chalk it up to an inadvertent tap of the space bar.

Now that you’ve accomplished your goal of derailing yet another thread, you can move on…jus’ sayin’.

Let me take the time right now to stop this by saying I apologize.
I was out of line, abrupt and condescending for no good reason.

The only thing I can say is I’m in a black mood today. A friend is
fighting to stay alive fighting COVID. He’s younger than me by a
bit and obstinate minded like I can be. However, his reluctance
was to get vaccinated and now he’s in ICU and getting status
updates is impossible other than through his wife or children.
He was admitted the day after Xmas & so far it’s been nip & tuck.

It’s not an excuse for behaving badly but it is the reason I’m just darn
angry and looking to quarrel. And for that reason, when I went out
earlier, I didn’t even wear my gun. His obstinacy might not have
mattered but it just seems like it did. Sorry to have misbehaved.

Apology accepted. I'm sorry to hear about your friend and hope he pulls through with a speedy recovery. Stay positive!

I was on the fence about getting the booster. Maybe I should reconsider.

Well, my friend is doing better after receiving monoclonal antibody treatment.
But the reverse is true in that when one door opens, another window closes.
I got word today my son just tested positive for COVID. He was vaccinated
8 months ago and was scheduled to get a booster shot on his next day off.
It would have been Monday & he worked the night before & on New Year’s Eve.

He felt something coming on yesterday, his symptoms started and so he took a
COVID test today. Unfortunately there is a shortage of the monoclonal drugs and
since he is a young, otherwise healthy young man, he isn’t eligible unless he had
to be hospitalized. So I have my fingers crossed that he won’t require that and will
bounce back without long haul after effects. WTF, things just have to improve soon.

I got the quarter round installed and contoured on the lid today. I should have the carpet and sprocket Thursday so I can test run it for several cycles before I start the body work and paint.

Very impressive! Looks like the aprons on the lid match the gold crown aprons perfectly!

I got my booster over two months ago. December 22 I got a fever and tested positive. The fever lasted a couple of hours. The next two days I had very very mild cold symptoms. Unfortunately I had to spend Christmas out of town in a hotel. Alls good now. I think a booster might have helped but who knows.

Patience, patience; scouting around for Formica for the top of the lid. I'm going to contact local cabinet shops to see what scraps they have. I need a 20" x 20" piece and I'd rather not buy a whole 4' x 8' sheet if I don't have to. I emailed Jerimy Chambers through his website but he's not gotten back with me. I'm sure he's got what I need. I already have the metal trim and corners picked out and trumpet style feet will be here Friday.
