Ester Park, Let me be the first on AZ's Forum - to say Good Luck in Sivas, Turkey at the 3rd World Championship Ladies 3-Cushion
5th - 7th September 2008 ? Sivas (TR). You're making History for both U.S.A. and the Ladies in 3 Cushion Billiard.

I hope our USBA Member don't let this fall through the crack, and keep us update.

It my understanding, and i could be wrong, that Mrs. Sang Lee and her Daughter are accompanying Ester Park to Turkey.

I hope our AZers' From Turkey will be able to keep us posted on Park and other Ladies results!

No! Dennis won't be going. But, Wei I heard he possible will be back in NY in ten days or so. R-----e in the air. I did hear he using the smoke patch and is happy with the result, plus walking some.

What you hear about Ester Park?

From what I have read on the web and Professor Q ball both Ester Park and Mercedes Gonzales are very talented female Three cushion players. I have read on the Professor Q ball magazine that Mercedes is constantly competing in the USBA tournaments against guys. What made the USBA choose Ester over Mercedes?

I don't believe it's the USBA choosing her over Mercedes. From what I understand, Mercedes can't go and so Ester was chosen because she came in 2nd in the nationals.

I agree with Radiford, the main thing we have a player from The U.S. for the first time. Two thing to remember this the 3rd World Ladies 3Cushion Championship and only held every two year [2004, 2006, and 2008] and the next one would/will be 2010.

Again Good Luck Ester Park. Whether win or lose, just showing was a great accomplishment.
