Jumpin' Jehoshaphats!! I heven't heard of Hawaaiian JImmy since
about 1986. I hung out for a while at a slimey bar box barn called ,"The Stagger Inn." All night place. No drinks after 2:00 am It was a popular place In Lakewood, Ca. Before 'Hard Times' in the neighboring city of Bellflower came about. When I could get some action there I can still here him
busting my balls ,"Georgeee . Got himself a pigeon!" he could play on the 9-footers . I stuck to BB's. Him and Long Hair Tony. What a pair. We had a good time. I wonder what happened to Tony? Any road players that would come in, Jimmy would play them on the one 9-footer there. Nice to know he survived and is playing well. I spent a night in the Lakewood jail trying to get to the 'Stagger' after I left the bar I was drinking in at 2:00 am.
Nasty place.
Don't ever go there.( the jail I mean)

Sigh! The good old days!!

some things never change, jimmy still plays everyone who comes in , if he has a good game of course, but he is bald as a cue ball now

one hole

From Tournament Director Jay Helfert via the onepocket.org forum:

"Here is how it works. There can only be three balls inside the kitchen (head string). When a fourth ball (or more) goes inside the head string, you spot one (or more) balls on the foot spot. You take the balls(s) closest to the end rail first."

"Interestingly the better players adapted quite easily to these rules (like Sylver), and still controlled their matches. It does affect some of the strategy, knowing that a ball will be spotted if you shoot one more ball into the kitchen. So you must be cognizant of that fact when there are already three balls in there. Even with these rules the best One Pocket players dominated."

The rule was put in place to not have super-long matches that could have held up the tournament.
