I want to change the wrap from smooth leather to linen. I'm not sure what will look best. Any help is appreciated.

I've always been a big fan of white with light green specs. Especially on a cue like this - I think it's a timeless, classic look.

Edit: I have a Hercek with very similar veneer colors with white and double black linen. Here's some pics if you want an idea of how that would look.

With the question in search of an answer you do realize your get a different answer from everyone it boils down to Ford Chevy or Dodge / which girl is the prettiest or which is the best pool cue made, so pop some popcorn and grab your favorite drink this could get interesting ha ha

White with black speck or black with white speck.
You have a problem though. There can be problems going from leather to linen. It depends on how thick the leather is. Honestly, I would not mess with it.
Both look good...but black w/white is so common.... Looks great in reverse.

Here is my cue that has black w blue specs. If you zoom into see the color it looks really nice in any cue w blue on it.

That black with blue would look great. If not that, white with green spec.
There is a cream with lite blue spec that I have on a bunch of cues. It always looks great. IMHO This is my FAVORITE;)

Your right....The leather is thicker and has a deeper cut than for linen....

I am known to be a big fan of Cortland Linen. Having said that, a white with blue speck linen wrap would look terrific.
Cortland made a white/ black speck wrap but I was never to locate any for my cues so I used CL #9 (green speck).

If you could find CL white w/ black speck, that would look the best. Otherwise, I think Hulbert made a blue speck linen
wrap. The size of the linen strands is important because leather wraps are known to vary in thickness. The butt might
need some type of liner if the leather wrap’s thickness and the linen wrap you select to use do not align.
