It's a Ron Thomas case

Probably is vinyl and once had a Meucci brass colored coin on the top.

price

i thought so but someone told me it was a ron thomas but i didn't see any signatures inside. who made them for meucci?

how much did this case go for and in this condition which is above average despite the coin missing?

looks to be a 2x4

I would say it's worth about $100-125..the missing coin hurts it...but someone could have an ivory coin made with their name or favorite cuemaker name....so that might help it sell.

Can't quite tell

It does look like an R T,but I can't quite tell without seeing the top and bottom.I think the other guys may be right about the Meucci and the coin thing.I would have to see the top bottom and interior pics.Good luck either way.
BR,Marc

Yep its a Meucci, I have had one for years. You dont see these to often. Here are a few pictures for reference.

hi Shane, I'm interested in the case, so please let me know if you do sell it and what price range your looking for. Also will wait on some more pics of the interior, bottom side veiws etc. thanks

Old Meucci with the round logo missing.

Good call on that. I don't know who made them but they were kind of a copy of an It's George but with a completely different interior.

Thanks. You can learn a thing or two hanging out on here a few hours a day:-) I think Ron may have helped meucci for a brief time and was the one who was making the cases..

The Meucci medallion cases were 110% made by Ron Thomas. Also, every single one of them was done in vinyl. I had the conversation with Ron at the SBE this year. I have come across two mint 1x2's and picked them both up for about 100.00 They are nice regardless of mat'l.
