How many threads are you subscribed to?

I'm kind of shocked or maybe the number just reminds me how long I have been reading threads on AZB.

7,230. Lol

So how many are you subscribed to?

JoeyA

A cool 103 for me, but they're all WFS threads with cues I'm either considering picking up or just designs I'd like to remember.

With this one...

Including this one 481. I think the true sign of addiction is how many of them are sending you email notices that there has been a reply made to it.

None... I don't know how to subscribe :-(

No i meant 0 :) i don't even know how to subscribe to thread.

At the top of every page you'll see 'post reply'....go down one line.
on the right you'll see some options...click on 'thread tools'....
...that will give you four options...click on 'subscribe'....
...you'll have to click one more time when you see what comes up.

to review your subscribed threads, click on 'user cp'.....
...somewhere around top right click on 'view subscribed threads'

Subscribing is a valuable option...all your subscribed threads will show as a different
color when someone posts to the current pages.

Pidge...you might want to go back to some of your instructional
threads and subscribe...they were great and it makes it easy
to bring them back up and add to them.

Thank you. Came across reputation points on my user cp page. I got around 3.7 mil - what is this supposed to mean :)?

I don't get any email notices. I think I must have opted out of that when I joined.

Yes, Pidge has some GREAT threads and information that he readily shares.

Pidge,
If I am not mistaken, if you post in a thread, you are automatically "subscribed to a thread". The other way that you can subscribe to other threads that you do not post in, is as PT109 suggests.

The benefit to subscribing to a thread that you are not posting in, is that if you are subscribed, when someone posts to that thread, that thread and new post automatically comes up on your screen when you log in.

I like it when someone posts to a very old thread that I am subscribed to, just to see that the information is still of interest to people despite the age of the thread.

Thanks for the kind words Joey and pt :-)

I never log in or out. And I only ever visit AZ from my phone. When I open up my browser on the phone I select the tab with AZ and I'm already logged in. All I see from threads I participate in is a little dot at the side of the thread. I have no subscriptions as far as I'm aware. I very rarely check my control panel either... So I might be subscribed to some actually. Thanks for the help, lads :-)

Joey, I'm pretty sure you have to subscribe whether you've posted or not in a thread.
...all my subscribed threads have been subscribed by me.

Threads that I have posted in, but not subscribed to, show a dark patch on the far left
Of the thread before you open it....on a computer, the mouse will show you how many
Times you've posted in the thread...and the date of the last post.

'Course, you joined 6 years before I did...maybe you have different conditions.

I've never subscribed to a thread.

Todd, it's a shame you have never subscribed.
I keep waiting for you to post again on your book thread....
...I forgot to subscribe and can't remember the title....
...time to bring it back, sir.

Not sure........... but in User Control Panel settings (under Edit Options) you can choose different settings for thread default settings: Default Thread Subscription Mode When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
Default Thread Subscription Mode:

I have mine set for No Email notification. Is that how yours is selected? Or do you have Do NOt Subscribe selected?

Just curious. Anyhow, I like having the threads that I have shown interest in to pop up when I hit "User CP" on the azbilliards.com main website. If nothing was posted to those threads that I am subscribed to, nothing shows up and I browse the Main Forum.
