How to know if a trade deal is finalized if the other person has not contacted you?

I recently did a cue trade deal, and I received my cue a day before the other person received the cue that I shipped him, and I contacted him to let him know that I received the cue and that I was happy with the cue.

So, the next day, the tracking info says that my shipment of the cue I shipped was delivered and signed for by the correct receiver (this was on the 10th of this month), and I still have never even received a reply from the PM that I sent him on the 9th (when I received the cue that he sent me).

So, it has been close to 2 days since he has received the cue, and has not contacted me or left me any feedback yet.

Should I just assume that he is satisfied, and the trade deal is now complete?

I have already sent him a PM on the 9th (without a reply as of yet), so should I send him another PM to ask him if the trade deal is finalized, or should I just assume that everything is good and finalized with our trade deal?

Thanks for any opinions about this.

Could be one of the places flooded or bad storm where the internet is out....one thought

Two weeks is a good amount of time to give the other party the opportunity to make contact with you. After that time, with no contact, I would consider it a done deal.

Next time, specify a time line for any issues to get resolved.

Buyers remorse is always a tricky situation. Your nice might not match his nice & vice versa.

If there is a problem upon receipt, that is the time to make your displeasure know. The state used to give people 3 days to back out of a car deal... but that is not the case anymore. I'm not sure what it is now.

How some ever, Walmart & Sears allow a good deal of time to return your purchases, for one reason or another.

Good Luck with your trade...

No need to worry, if he goes out and wins a couple of sets with his cue. BUT....if he happens to dog his brains out and loses....then out will come the electron microscope to check for glue lines....and the micrometers that will read 12.98 mm's instead of a full 13mm....and of course then the dial indicator that will show it is .005 thousands away from being straight.....and then a scale to show it weighs 19.45 ounces instead of the advertised 19.5.....etc etc.....
