I can't find any reviews or opinions about Krindlekin cues.

So you admit you received a Kamui tip. Now that Kamui tip was sent to you under the impression you'd take a closeup of it. That never happen. That's theft by deception.

You are still clueless. You didn't ruffle features because you didn't follow the traditional path. You burned bridges because you demanded free shit and never gave back. Remember when you were doing those up close pictures of tips? Remember how you were too broke to do premium tips? When someone sent you one for free, you disappeared for months and still to this day(a couple years later) you still haven't provided any pictures. Remember all those times you wanted items cheaper than raw stock cost? The forum remembers if you've forgotten. You're a two face liar.

Edit: for the OP, here's the iTrader feedback page for Enigmaticul http://forums.azbilliards.com/itrader.php?u=73449 . His first bad deal was on the first item he sold here. Everything before then was him buying something. There's enough flaws with this persons attitude and craft that I'd stay away if I were you.

Rep for you, man

I've never held one of his cues in person, but from my point of view the design seems to be all over the place. If you're using contrasting colors in a cue, make sure it's balanced. Throwing a random malachite ring on a buttcap when the veneers don't match just looks odd. Same with non-uniformly colored materials for buttcaps. If the joint collars are wood with distinct grain, try to make the grain line up, or pick a different material.

That's my opinion on the pics I've seen from Krindlekin cues. His defensive attitude doesn't help his case either.

I'm also on a similar line of thinking as Danny (ddadams), but I disagree with his statement slightly. I don't think it's realistic to expect the same exact hit from every cue made by a certain cue builder (if a customer prefers juma to melamine, there will be a slight difference just by changing the ferrules). Wood is a natural product and will vary in tone, density, and this effects the "hit" as well. However, getting the same taper, forearm/handle/buttcap lengths, joint dimensions, and overall design to be consistent is the sign of a decent builder imo.

Er, he already is banned

Well, now I feel really bad that I ever created this thread. You guys seem super smart about cues. I see a cue made with some really beautiful woods, and I automatically think it is a really nice cue, but I see now that there is a lot more to it then just putting a cue together using nice looking wood.

What started the Ball Rolling for this guy a couple of years ago was his crappy attitude.

He mentioned, "In Romania, we don't Learn a Trade, we Steal one".

The guys in the "Ask the Cue Maker Forum", are some of the most helpful people around.

But, they expect you to try, and make a few mistakes along the way, just as they did.

Sometimes, and it does have much to do with a person's attitude also, they aren't going to take you by the hand and baby sit you thru the process.

They made crucial mistakes in learning, they expect you to learn the same way.

Fair enuff, right.

Then, he got to be too much of a Bum. Why would anyone in their proper minds, sell any materials for under the cost of what they paid for them. That is about it in a nut shell.

For some, I imagine, regretted trying to give a hand in the first place.

He wore his welcome out quickly.

The first time he was banned, was most likely for threatening to punch me out. Hahaha. Like that would happen.

But, no one appreciates a Internet Tough Guy. Not in the Cue Maker Forum anyway.

And he basically puts down the efforts put out by a couple of Makers who provided lessons thru a Book, and Yes, it is considered to be, The Holly Book, and the DVDs. Both, for very reasonable prices. It is not like the guys were raking millions from Sales. Thanks Chris and Joe B.

Many of us have learned with these materials. I don't build myself, just repairs for now. I may when I feel that I am ready.

A year or so ago, I went thru a Private Message Drunken Tirade with him. I didn't report the messages as I figured that he would sober up in the morning.

He was, and obviously continues to be his own worst Enemy.
