I played 9 ball last night!!!

Nothing more to the story. Just telling everyone that I played 9 ball last night.









.....yeah! I know its a dumb thread but hey! If travis can waste our time with crap like this, how come I can't??? Hell! At least I use punctuation in my sentences!
 
I on the other hand will not be playing 9 ball. Not in a house, not with a mouse, not in a box not with a fox. I will not play with a cuetec that's quite plain, especially not on a train.

ditto. In about 30 minutes in fact. All this talk about practice drills has got me wondering. I got a big stack of em and I'm gonna go try em out.

Are you from San Antonio or just living there? I was born and raised there, lived there for 26 years.

Been here 5 years or so. 6 this summer. I came one summer to visit my Dad and stayed. Joined the Air Force and ended up coming back here.

Wherever there is action.....:D San Antonio Native myself and seem to be one of the only ones with gamble. Seem to lose quite often since everyone has the nuts when I jump in the box with them. :D Oh well. Bad action is better than no action. :(

I'm usually in Fast Eddie's on Culebra because they have the sweetest deal. I pay 10$ for league every Sunday(which is usually all I can afford) and I play league plus I get free pool from Sunday-Thursday. So I'm there all the time practicing PLUS I don't drink when I play so I'm totally using that benefit up.

But whenever I am within a MILE of a pool hall I start feining and I usually stop. So there's no telling where you might see me.

lol thats where I used to play that and Tiffany Billiard on San Pedro. FE is a good clean place, decent side of town too.

Hopefully its better now but I never got a ton of action there. Pidly stuff but no big action. If Banana's is still in business you should find some better money games there.

I'll say this right now. I'm at Fast Eddie's on Culebra 3-5 out of 7 nights of the week. There aint no one there who will play for more than 10 dollars. You better have some serious game to work those fellas into the high dollar. They are all regulars who just like to either drink or play with us league folk.

Banana's has no 9-ball action whatsoever. The last time I played any 9-ball in there was when Lil John came through 2 years ago.

Only 3 1-pocket players and they are all afraid of their shadow.

There are few that will actually gamble and they are hardly ever there. I'm not too scared of anyone but that's why I keep going off huh L. J. ? oh well one day I'll catch each one of them....:p
 
I will admit I haven't been there in about 4 years. Banana's that is. Vivian used to tear that place up until people started to get to know her. Then she got into it with the owner and I don't think she's been back since.

Where is the money at in SA these days?
 
lol. Yep I'm really out of the loop. SA has always been like that. I really enjoyed Clicks near Churchill about 10 years ago and that place off of Bandera wasn't bad for awile but then the kiddies started hanging out there daily and I think it went belly up.

I installed the tables there I should remember the name but dammit I don't.

2 places on Bandera.......Side Pocket and Bradley's. Clicks on West Ave. is now closed. Abs. No action on any place on Bandera. :o
