A GREAT DAY
Silver Member
If you could have an afternoon with some pro.
-have lunch
-play a set
-have some drinks
-talk about pool
-learn alot
-have some laughs
-ask some questions
-just you and.........................

i would give my left arm to spend a few hours with efren and thorsten.it would be a dream.

Johnny Archer.
I wouldn't give my left arm however. Unless if Archer shows me how to shoot one-handed! :)

There are any number of them. Recently, however, I find myself intrigued by Kelly Fisher. Her youth and the attitude she seems to play with make me think a few hours at the pool hall with her would just be a blast for an old hacker like me.

for me it would for sure be Keith
Excellent choice, Keith would be my first choice also, but since you chose first I'll say Mike Massey would be a great one to hang out with for a day.

Very hard to pick a single player... Here's my short list:

Efren (for his sheer skill at many aspects of the game)
Grady (for his skills, systems, and many stories)
Keith ('cause I have a pair of his dice I'd like to give back)

Fun for a day?

Great post!:D

1- Allen Hopkins
2- Jim Rempe
3- Mike Sigel

And if the dead could come back to life, my first choice over EVERYBODY would be Willie. I miss him.:(

Someone I just HAVE to meet:

Keith McCready - play some racks and buy him a dinner! My favourite player, without a doubt!

Earl Strickland - I would discuss the future of pool with him, and of course tell him that there are many people, myself included, who really enjoy watching him play and like him as the character he is!

Efren Reyes - I would love to play some racks of one-pocket with him, buy him a San Miguel before try to beat him in chess!

During my few years in pool I have met a lot of the top-players on tournaments, and my best memories here are when Niels Feijen on his first visit to Norway as a spectator for his girlfriend Katrine playing Eurotour for women, he played a lot of local players for some $ a set till 6 in the morning. He got a lot of new fans, was a really class player and true gentleman. And besides I won 20 $ race to 3 one-handed ;)

My for sure best memory of them all have to be during the Norwegian 9-ball Challenge sitting outside drinking beers with Tony Drago and Oliver Ortmann till early morning. Tony Drago has to be the funniest poolplayer! 1 hour with him and you will smile a week.

1. Jeanette Lee
2. Allison Fisher
3. John Schmidt

I learn better from females who like to teach, and I think John Schmidt is just a really relaxed and nice guy I would like to hang out with. I might like to hang out with some others if I knew the Austrian dialect of German or Tagalog lol :D

She gives personal lessons at Rack Em in Matthews, NC. You can call and make an appointment 704-847-7665. I believe she charges like $70 an hour which is cheap compared to A.Fisher.
Now I hope she doesn't come on here and flame me for mentioning her name.... :D :D !!!!!!!!!!!

#1 swoon no question....hopefully we wouldnt be discussing or playing pool at all.
#2 do some lines with keith and watch him run around the table.

As long as we're just dreaming: I go back to the 1880's and hang out with Jake "the Wizard" Shaefer. Just reading about his amazing skill puts a smile on my face every time.

How about Alex Pagulayan? Every time I've seen him at a tournament he is an absolute riot, I can't think of anybody who enjoys the game and just life in general any more than him.
