I live in New Jersey and that is just cruel! Just had to get rid of a machine to fit the new CNC. Wonder if the wife would mind if I set it up in the Family Room?

Just remember it's better to beg for forgiveness then ask for permission.
You could also just go ahead and get it then tell the next wife it was there before her so it has seniority rights so she goes before the lathe goes.
PS. I could put a lathe in the kitchen and the wife would never know, as she knows how to run a lathe about as well as she runs a stove
