I've always heard that if something is too good to be true that it usually is and I thought the IPT was too good to be true. I couldn't imagine how the organizers could pay out that kind of money and continue having tournaments and it didn't take long for the IPT to default on paying the players. This is another black eye for pool and it's a shame when you look at other games like poker that are doing well.

For the most part this fiasco has been kept out of the mainstream media. The longer it takes for the pool community to put this issue to bed the more likely it is for "black eyes" to develop.

As it stands now, It's only a black eye for pool if you think of that way, the rest of the world is in the dark.

I've seen this on TV several times and every time I see it I want to puke, KT really does have his BS'ing skills down quite well.
